Note Note: Ultrasound patient first before opening catheter to confirm they have enough fluid for the procedure

Procedure will be done on table

Supplies

  • Normal Saline 0.9% 1000 ml
  • Angio pack
  • Turtle shell cover
  • Fluoro drape
  • Probe cover
  • Pickups
  • Suture (3.0 Vicryl)
  • Biopatch
  • Ioban
  • Suction tubing
  • 5-in-1-adapter
  • Aspira Peritoneal Catheter (Red box -Pyxis outside Lab 3)
  • Aspira Peritoneal home dressing kit (Blue box – Pyxis outside Lab 3)

Note Protip: Have Neptune or suction canister ready for drainage


Bronzo

  • Dermabond
  • Will get access first, then tunnel towards the access

Dare

  • Tunnel, retrograde after inserting
  • Cut the “Y” portion and attach tunneler. Keep stylet.
  • 3.0 & 4.0 Vicryl
  • Amplatz wire 180cm

Brittany

  • Will get access first, then tunnel
  • 3.0 Vicryl
  • Dermabond/Exofin
