Procedure Approval Process

This page outlines the process used to mark procedure pages as approved by the physician listed on that page.

  1. While being created, the section header for the physician will be tagged as "Draft".
  2. Once the procedure is written out and includes an equipment list and basic steps, the section header for the physician will be changed to "Approval Pending".
  3. At this point, the physician approving the procedure will make a comment on the procedures discussion page with a signature approving the section relevant to them. (This is accomplished by ending your comment with four tildes "~~~~")
  4. The Administrator will change the comment at the bottom of the physicians section with the physicians name and date, and protect the page.
  5. Any revisions to the page/section will be accomplished by requesting the change on the relevant discussion page and notifying the administrator who will make the revisions.
