  • Flank on affected side
Pre-Procedure Watchouts
*Ultrasound patient first before opening catheter to confirm they have enough fluid for the procedure
  • Procedure will be done with patient sitting up, legs draped over side of bed and leaning on our table
  • Have pillow available for patient to lean
  • Have suction canisters ready for drainage
  • Normal Saline 0.9% 1000 ml
