Suture Preferences

Hongo: 2-0 pds, 3-0 monocryl, 4-0 monocryl, 0 silk for can/leads, mastisol/steri. 8 blue, 8 yellow. 150 0.032" J for LBBB. No U/S access to start, pocket before stick, toothed pickups, Adson for 4.0. Uses a small part of 3.0 monocryl to tie can to Tyrex if it's used.

Hao: 2-0 pds, 3-0 monocryl, 4-0 monocryl, 0 ethibond for can, 0 silk for leads, mastisol/steri. 8 blue, 7.5 yellow. 150 0.032" J for LBBB. U/S access before ioban cut in half, pocket after.

Romick: 2-0 pds, 3-0 monocryl, 4-0 monocryl on SH, nothing for can, 0 ethibond for leads, dermabond. 150 0.032" J for LBBB. 7.5 yellow x2. U/S access before pocket, right angles to fit wires into pocket.

Milechman: 2-0 vicryl, 3-0 vicryl, 4-0 vicryl, nothing for can, 0 silk for leads, mastisol/steri. 7.5 yellow. 150 0.032" J for LBBB. Attempt cut down (incl. silk ties) before micropuncture.

Woods: 2-0 vicryl, 3-0 vicryl, 4-0 monocryl, nothing for can, 0 ethibond for leads, dermabond. 8.5 yellow. 150 0.032" J for LBBB. Pocket before U/S access.

Goyal: 2-0 vicryl, no 3-0, possible 4.0 monocryl. 0 ethibond on a CT1 for leads, nothing for can. mastisol/steri strips. 7.5 blue, 7 yellow (3x - changes after each lead). Mayo stand + 3/4 drape for LBBB as well as a glidewire.

Bovie 50/50. Ultrasound access, stick before pocket. Toothed pickups until toothless for suturing.
