Dr Daniels Decan
OPEN
- Cath Pack
- Ecmo Instrument Tray
- Perclose ( extras on standby )
- MicroPucture
- .035x150 J wire
- 0-Prolene
- 3 way stopcock
Procedure
- Remove distal suture, leave proximal sutures for MD to cut.
- Prep and Drape open drape window to expose canula.
- Heavy scissors and tubing clamps up at groin.
- Use micro puncture to access arterial canula.
- Use .035 wire into micro puncture sheath.
- Remove canula.
- Perclose.
- Purse string around vein 0 prolene and 3 way stop cock for woggle.
Spies/Groves Decan without Pre-Closure!
- 12F Dilator
- 10F Dilator
- 8F Dilator
- 2 Perclose
- Standard J
Clamp arterial cannula, cook needle stick to the cannula. Standard J advanced and cannula removed. 12F dilator inserted, pressure held for 5 or so minutes. Dilator downsized to 10F, pressure held. Perclose times one. 8F dilator advanced and pressure held. Second perclose deployed.
