PERITONEAL CATHETER PLACEMENT
- Patient to empty bladder before prep
- 100% Contrast (hand injection) unless the Physician states otherwise.
- Heparinized Saline 1000 ml

- Angio pack
- Probe cover (Hockey stick probe)
- 0-Silk (for tying tunnel trocar to the catheter)
- 3-0 Vicryl
- 4-0 Vicryl
- Light handle cover
- Fluoro drape
- Turtle shell cover
- 3M pouch
- Accustick
- Green needle
- 15 Blade
- Forcep
- Raytex
- Light handle
- Glide wire 180cm
- Amplatz wire 180cm
- Kumpe (KMP) catheter
- C2 catheter 65cm (Dare)
- Ioban (large)
- (2) 10cc syringes
- (2) 60cc syringes
- Sterile IV tubing (for Hep saline bag 1000ml) sterile core
- Exofin
MD will pre mark the patient using a non-sterile template. MD stands on the patient's left side.
Peritoneal catheter supplies are in the sterile core cabinet (middle door near the blanket warmer)
- Peritoneal Dialysis insert kit VP-511
- Peritoneal Dialysis Flex Neck catheter CF-5260 *(ask MD about size)
- Titanium Connector CC-2300
- Faller trocar FT-1100
- Mini cap Extended Life PD Transfer set
- Betadine cap for end of case (NOT STERILE)
- Hep lock catheter before patient leaves the room (2000 units of Heparin /18ml of Hep saline)
- Attach Betadine cap

- Army-Navy – OR
- Weitlaner Retractor – OR
- TE 1000
- Disposable cautery
- MD will pre mark the patient using a non-sterile template

- (2) 3.0 Vicryl
- C2 Catheter
- CF-5270 (long) Versus CF-5260 (short) (Ask Dare prior to opening)
- Will mark after prep
