Setup
The Shockwave is kept behind Room 6. It should be plugged in when you find it, If not plug it in immediately and you may have enough power complete the procedure.
The Shockwave box is located in Cabinet #5 in Room 1 and in Cabinet #17 in Room 6.
Circulator
- Power On.
- Pull out the charge cable from the front of the machine (left).
- Slide the plate to the left and plug in the hand control.
- Hand off the control to the Scrub. They will receive it in the Sleeve.
- After the scrub person connects the catheter to the cable, the physician will inform you when they are ready to hit the "THERAPY ON" Button.
Scrub
- limited to 80 pulses per balloon
- Good prep required
- Treat at proper inflation pressure
- Not for stents <3 months old
Breakdown
- Clean unit.
- Disconnect the Plug from the device.
- Plug the Battery Cable back into the device.
- Take device to back hallway of room 6.
- It is CRITICAL THAT YOU PLUG THE DEVICE BACK INTO POWER.
