This setup is used to over dilate an existing valve in preparation for installing a new trans catheter valve.
Equipment
- Atrion 38 indeflator
- Atrion 25 indeflator
- 4-way stopcock
- True Balloon
- Fill big indeflator, 10ml in small indeflator
Procedure
- Use 30/170 TAVR mix
- De-air and fill both indeflators
- Prep balloon similar to Edwards Delivery system prep
- Attach both indeflators and open stopcock to be open all ways
- Lock smaller indeflator
- Leave larger indeflator unlocked
