  • ¾ sheet (floor covering)
  • Shoe covers for all staff

Open onto table

  • Angio pack
  • Gloves
  • Fluoro drape
  • U/S Probe cover
  • Turtle shell cover
  • 5Fr x 11cm sheath
  • 3-way stopcock
  • Tuohy
  • 12” extension tubing
  • 3cc Blue Medallion syringe
  • (2) 3cc Green or Purple Medallion syringe for contrast
  • 3J x 145cm guidewire
  • Glide wire 180cm
  • Torque Device (if needed)
  • Fathom Guidewire
  • One way or blue cap for end of tuohy
  • (2) 12cc syringe
  • ¾ sheet (for table)

Mayo stand for Administration set

  • Therasphere Equipment box (storage room)
  • Therasphere administration set
  • Saline 250ml
  • Sterile Gloves
  • Towels
  • 4x4 gauze
  • Suture removal kit
  • Small tegaderm
  • Alcohol wipes

Administration Set Priming

  1. Open the Administration Set
  2. Connect the non-vented spike to the saline, and hang saline on hook
  3. Connect the vented spike (near label “A”) to the empty glass vial
  4. Remove the red rubber cap, keeping the needle injector tip sterile
  5. Prime the Administration Set tubing and syringe with saline. You will see 2 streams of saline flowing continuously from the needle injector holes
  6. Continue priming until bubbles are removed and saline flows continuously out of both needle holes of the injector
  7. After priming, red rubber cap may be reinstalled to keep the tip sterile
  8. Fill the syringe when priming is complete
