TRANSJUGULAR LIVER BX W/WO PRESSURES

  • 100% Contrast (hand injection) unless the Physician states otherwise.
  • Heparinized Saline 1000 ml
  • T table setup, work from head side.
  • Tube left side, tilt table and tube to visualize liver.
  • Will measure pressures.

  • Micropuncture kit
  • Amplatz 180cm
  • Glide wire 180cm
  • Transducer
  • Torque device
  • 9Fr sheath
  • TLAB kit (comes with MPB catheter, 7Fr introducer and Biopsy needle)
  • 12cc syringe, for extra contrast
  • Telfa (to place specimen on)
  • Sureseal

Standby

  • C2 catheter

With pressures

  • 8mm Occlusion balloon
  • One way stopcock
