PORT PLACEMENT/REMOVAL
- Heparinized Saline 1000 ml
Supplies
- Angio pack
- Micro puncture Kit
- Probe cover
- Fluoro drape
- Turtle shell cover
- #15 Blade
- Raytex
- Sutures (see MD preference below)
- Pickups
- Exofin
- Ioban
- 8Fr Powerport (check with MD)
Bronzo
- Do not connect catheter on the port
- Stratafix 3.0 & Stratafix 4.0 (or ask)
- No dressing, leave it open.
- Syringe->tubing->Tunneler->0
- Cap on tubing, port will be at zero
Tunnel north, then attach port
Dare
- 3-0 Vicryl
- Connect catheter to the port
- No dressing, leave it open
Raj
- Flow switch
- 3-0 Vicryl
- Connect catheter to the port
- Steri strips for incision site (cut small) for post dressing

- 4-0 PS-2 Coated Vicryl
- Connect catheter to the port
- No dressing, leave it open
