The “Sharps Boat”

The “Sharps Boat” is the preferred sharps management system here at CPMC Van Ness Cath Lab. Individual variations are OK, but the physicians expect to have it available.

The advance to the scrip person is that when it is properly set-up, it allows the physician to help themselves during the access portion of the procedure. This allows the scrub additional time to finish other setup items.
