Procedure

1. Remove distal suture, leave proximal sutures for MD to cut.
2. Prep and Drape open drape window to expose canula.
3. Heavy scissors and tubing clamps up at groin.
4. Use micro puncture to access arterial canula.
5. Use .035 wire into micro puncture sheath.
6. Remove canula.
7. Perclose.
8. Purse string around vein 0 prolene and 3 way stop cock for woggle.

Spies/Groves Decan without Pre-Closure!

• 12F Dilator
• 10F Dilator
• 8F Dilator
• 2 Perclose
• Standard J

Clamp arterial cannula, cook needle stick to the cannula. Standard J advanced and cannula removed. 12F dilator inserted, pressure held for 5 or so minutes. Dilator downsized to 10F, pressure held. Perclose times one. 8F dilator advanced and pressure held. Second perclose deployed.
