FFR Adenosine
IC administration
- Concentration: 10mcg/ml
- 6mg/2ml Vial
- Add 1.7ml from vial to 500ml NS
IV Administration
- Concentration: 90mg/90ml (1mg/ml)
- 90mg/30ml Vial
- From 100ml NS Bag, Remove and waste 40ml from the bag
- Add full Adenosine Vial (30ml) to 60ml NS remaining
- IV administration rate - 140mcg/kg/min, (A. Beyer - 160mcg/kg/min)
Cangrelor
Cangrelor 50mg / 250ml NS Concentration: 200mcg/ml For IV Bolus and Infusion
Supplies
- 1 Cangrelor 50mg vial
- 1 10ml Sterile Water for Injection(SWFI)
- 1 250ml Normal Saline bag
- Alcohol Swabs
- Syringe
- IV tubing
Preparation
- Using aseptic technique, clean the ports of the IV bag and stoppers of cangrelor and SWFI with sterile alcohol swabs
- Withdraw 5ml of SWFI and gently inject into cangrelor vial to reconstitute
- Swirl gently until dissolved and foam subsides _(should be _clear and colorless to pale yell ow). Avoid vigorous mixing. Swirl until clear
- Immediately after reconstitution, withdraw entire contents of one vial of cangrelor (50mg in 5ml) and add to one bag of 250ml NS. Mix bag thoroughly.

- 10mg/ml Vial
- Add 1ml to 100ml N.S.
IA & IC Verapamil
- 5mg/2ml Vial
