Procedure for placing a plug between 2 Mitraclips in the same setting:

  • 8F sheath and 260cm J inserted through guide delivery system.
  • Guide delivery system removed, 20F dryseal inserted
  • Agilis inserted
  • Preload Shuttle sheath with glidewire and advance through agilis
  • Glidewire used to cross between plugs and removed with shuttle dilator.
  • 5F sheath inserted into shuttle in lieu of using torqvue delivery sideport
    • Transition between shuttle and torqvue insertion isn't flush so occluder starts to deploy if sheath not used
