ADOII

Equipment:

  • 260cm J Wire
  • Amplatz ES 260
  • 20F Dryseal
  • Agilis
  • 5F 110cm Shuttle Sheath (dependent on plug size)
  • 5F 10cm Pinnacle Sheath (for shuttle sheath not access)
  • Straight glidewire (standard)
  • .032 x 260 J
  • MPA 125cm
  • 180* torqvue (French size not important here, only using for the cable.)

Note Note: The deployment cable for the torqvue can be daisy-chained for more length!

  • 0-Ethibond
  • Naked 3-Port manifold for pressures only

Procedure for placing a plug between 2 Mitraclips in the same setting:

  • 8F sheath and 260cm J inserted through guide delivery system.
  • Guide delivery system removed, 20F dryseal inserted
  • Agilis inserted
  • Preload Shuttle sheath with glidewire and advance through agilis
  • Glidewire used to cross between plugs and removed with shuttle dilator.
  • 5F sheath inserted into shuttle in lieu of using torqvue delivery sideport
    • Transition between shuttle and torqvue insertion isn't flush so occluder starts to deploy if sheath not used

CARDIOFORM

Equipment:

14fr. MTS = Mullins

  • Angled Glide
  • Amplatz ES
  • Amplatz SS
  • Rosen Wire
  • 5F MP
  • 7F Shuttle - dilator used inside Cardioform sheath
  • Flexcath- ***flexcath $150, Agilis $900***
  • 20F Dryseal
  • 20mm Snare- snare dilator to angle toward valve

IF Arterial Access needed for Body Floss

  • Micropuncture
  • 6F Sheath
  • Guide
  • Watchdog
  • Stopcock
  • JAG wire
  • Flexcath used for direction but has to be removed because it's too long for cardioform.
